It has been nearly 2 weeks now since the last update, so here is a new update about the new building of the Baloe 2. The last 2 weeks there has been done alot mostly in the engine room, but in the accomodation as well.

Our shoalbuster Tarka 3 left end of january towards Hartlepool in the U.K where she will be working on the Tees Side Offshore Wind Park project for Van Oord O.W.P. more details will follow soon.

The new vessel Baloe 2 is now about 3 weeks at the shipyard in Hardinxveld, so here is the first update since the arrival of the Baloe 2 on Hardinxveld.

Our shoalbuster Baloe just finished her last project in the Baltic in Rostock. Her job there was to retreive a sinker pipeline. After getting the sinker pipeline above the water a crack was found and the sinker pipeline had to be lowered back into the water. At the moment she is underway back to Holland where she will be available for charter untill beginning of march.

This weekend we are paying a visit to the company H.S Marine in Italy to take a look at the new crane which will be for the shoalbuster Baloe 2. The crane is not ready yet but here are already some pictures of the progress for now.

From our last job in the warm south Sines Portugal for Van Oord the multicat Yogi left just after New Year to the Baltic sea towards Klaipeda. The job here was to salvage a damaged sinker pipeline for DEME which has been there for almost a year. After recovering approximately 90% of the sinker pipeline and landing it succesfull on the beach, the Yogi was used together with divers to retrieve the last pipes from the water as well. During these operations the weather started to change quiet abit and the winter was there with temperatures of -27 degrees Celcius.
