The new vessel Baloe 2 is now about 3 weeks at the shipyard in Hardinxveld, so here is the first update since the arrival of the Baloe 2 on Hardinxveld.

The past few weeks there has been alot of small welding and cutting jobs on the vessel, this mainly as preperation for the cablerails where later all the wiring will go. Also in the accomodation the sides of the floor has been extended by 2 cm this is because the floor will be 2 cm higher then the original Baloe this is being done to reduce the sound in the accomodation. Also on the plates between the engine room and the accomodation there is a flexible coating being applied to reduce the sound and vibration for sound reduction!
