Our tug and workboat Shoalbuster Tarka3 is able to tow objects over great distances offshore as it can work an unlimited number of miles away from the shore. The other workboats we provide can work from 30 up to 200 nautical miles offshore.

Plough dredging vessels – Herman Sr

All of Herman Sr’s tug and workboats can be used for plough dredging. Either hire a boat with all the necessary equipment, or actually hire our plough dredge itself – the choice is yours. Wind farm support

At Herman Sr we have vessels available which can be used as wind farm support vessels. The self-powered multifunctional workboat, Yogi is the wind farm support vessel you need. It comes equipped with two hydraulic cranes and two sets of hydraulic pins. These pins increase ship safety and benefit staff safety too. This wind farm support vessel has a large work deck which is ideal for wind farm support.

Alle schepen in het bezit van Scheepvaartbedrijf Herman Sr BV zijn uitgerust om te kunnen ploegen. Wij hebben een 4-tal ploegen in eigen bezit en kunnen wanneer benodigd ingezet worden op het project waar het schip aan het werk is.

Ploegen wordt veelal toegepast bij baggerwerkzaamheden om oneffenheden in de zeebodem te verwijderen.
De ploegen die in het bezit zijn van Holding Herman sr b.v. variëren in grote en gewicht. Hieronder vindt u een overzicht van de ploegen die beschikbaar zijn voor verhuur met of zonder schip.

Holding Herman sr BV has years of experience in soil/seabed survey. Our shoalbusters and multicats are equipped with a moonpool for the safe placement of a multi-beam receiver.

Our vessels are also equipped with the latest amenities for easy connection of survey equipment. There are connections for GPS applications and there is a special 19 inch survey rack where all the equipment can be safely stored and connected to the main power of the vessel. 

In the past, ships of Tug- and work boat company Herman Sr. BV. have functioned as a survey boat in some cases combining the survey works with ploughing, towing or other services. Because the survey pole is easily adjustable in height the will be no risk of damaging the survey equipment that is installed on the vessel. 

Our fleet of ships is not the largest, nor are the vessels the biggest ever seen, but our boats are very versatile and well maintained and equipped with the latest technology and experienced crew.

De schepen van Holding Herman Sr BV zijn allemaal volledig uitgerust om een sleepreis te kunnen maken. Al het benodigde sleepmateriaal is standaard aanwezig aan boord en wordt jaarlijks gekeurd door een onafhankelijke instantie.

Hiernaast heeft onze sleepboot: Shoalbuster Tarka 3 onbeperkt vaargebied en kan daardoor ook ingezet worden voor zeesleepreizen. Onze overige schepen hebben een vaargebied van maximaal 30 mijl uit de kust. De schepen zijn allemaal uitgerust met een dubbele lier wat een dubbele sleep mogelijk maakt wanneer vereist.
