The position
About the position
As Maritime Officer, you are responsible for duties on both the bridge and in the engine room of our internationally operating workboats.
You support the Captain, manoeuvre independently during daily operations, perform planned maintenance and troubleshoot technical faults. Safety and vessel availability always come first.
Responsibilities
A varied role aboard the vessel
- Perform bridge watches and manoeuvre independently during operations.
- Support the Captain with nautical and operational duties.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during the watch.
- Perform planned maintenance in the engine room.
- Identify and resolve technical faults.
- Coordinate maintenance needs and technical matters with the shore office.
- Contribute to anchor handling, towing, survey, supply, offshore, dredging and diving support.
Your profile
Qualifications
- Valid Maritime Officer < 3000 GT and < 3000 kW certificate in accordance with STCW Reg. II/1 and III/1 (VII/2).
- Valid Certificate of Competency under the Manila Amendments (STCW 2010).
- Radar Management Level (STCW A-II/2) is an advantage.
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical certificate.
- Experience with Shoalbusters and/or Multicats is an advantage.
- Valid passport for international travel.
