This shoalbuster is designed especially for Herman Senior to suit our preferences.

She was delivered in March 2013 and “Bommel” has proven to be a solid workboat capable in a lot of different services. Tugging is one of her specialities but to say she is a tugboat you will underestimate her.

She is a bigger sister of our workboat “Baloe”. With a bollard pull of 27,6-ton, she is a robust build vessel with a Bureau Veritas unrestricted navigation classification.

The shoalbuster Bommel is suited for all dredging, offshore wind farm support, civil marine construction, surveying, and oil & gas industry works. With four hydraulic towing pins and a wire stopper on the aft deck, the safety for crew and vessel is well looked after. Bommel can be equipped with an A-frame for ploughing or other tasks, and with her heavy hydraulic deck crane, she is a very well equipped vessel.
